April 13, 2014, Knappa Dock to Clatsop Spit (27 miles) – Oh Joy, on Thomas Jeffersons 271st birthday! The Jigsaw Journey finally comes to an end.

April 12, 2014, Westport to Knappa, OR (17 miles).

April 11, 2014, Kalama to Westport, OR (33 miles) – Passed by Rainier and Green Point and camped at Westport boat launch.

April 10, 2014, Kelley Point Park to Kalama,WA (25 miles) – Passed by St. Helens, Sauvies Island, Warriors Point and camped on Sandy Island near Kalama.

April 9, 2014, PDX to Kelley Point Park (11 miles) – Walked and paddled the Superfund Site with the famous Craftmaster Productions. To promote SOLVE IT.

Wednesday, September 12 paddled the Willamette River to visit SOLVE in Portland and do a '5 minute Pick-up' north of the Steel Bridge. Click on this image to see video.

On Saturday, May 19th, the Beachwalk team began the journey of 'Oregon Water and People Summit to Sea' by skiing off the sno-capped summit of Mt. Hood. Follow us as we follow the trail of water by foot and paddle down the mountain, out to the Columbia to the sea by Astoria and south to the border of California. See the great photos.

Waterkeeper Alliance
An environmental advocate, Waterkeeper Alliance has over 200 local Waterkeeper organizations employing more than 400 full-time and 200 part-time environmental activists, educators, scientists and attorneys. Waterkeeper Alliance is a global movement of on-the- water advocates who patrol and protect over 100,000 miles of rivers, streams and coastlines in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.
As a humanitarian advocate, WaterAid works in 17 countries enabling the world's poorest people to gain access to sustainable clean water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions. The World Health Organization reports more than 3.4 million people die each year as a result of water related diseases, making it the leading cause of disease and death around the world. Most of the victims are young children, who die of illnesses caused by organisms that thrive in water sources contaminated by raw sewage.

The team is working to raise awareness for the protection of EVERYONE'S RIGHT TO CLEAN WATER and is partnering with organizations that have proven to be exceptionally effective in this goal.
